LG 20X/48X IDE CD-ROM
This is a view of the LG 20X/48X IDE CD-ROM drive.
TheCD-ROM drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally in the case.
The emergency eject button hole to the left of the eject button is provided as a means to open the disc tray when no power is available to the CD-ROM drive.
Turn off the computer and carefully insert a stiff wire, such as a straightened paper clip, into the hole

until resistance is felt.
Press a bit harder and the tray slides out slightly.
Grasp the front of the tray and pull it out firmly but gently.
The tray resists at first, but glides out smoothly as it clears the CD-ROM drive case.
